Blender. Modeling Optimus Prime Power Master. 10th Part.

Final part of these series, we model the Autobots logo and also we give the big Prime a texture, so it's not "that perfect" looking.

This is the final render:


As you can see, there are some details that the texture has added to the whole robot, so it looks like a robot after the battle, and we get that by using the Displace modifier and playing with the Strengh of the texture (Clouds, by the way)

Here is a breakdown of the video:


  • Model (draw, actually) of the logo from a base image and a single vertice.
  • Material (golden) for the logo.
  • Placing of the logo.
  • Addition of the Displace modifier for the robot mesh.
  • Modification of the strengh of the modificer over the mesh.

Oh! and, by the way, the light part, it's just many planes with an Emission white material added.
